On May 27th, the department held its second Industry Liaison activity in conjunction with OeRC, ISIS Innovation and STEM-UeN.  This event was held at the Laboratory and was a showcase of some of the exciting and groundbreaking research being undertaken in the department.

It gave industry participants the opportunity to explore the work of the department through a series of talks and demonstrations including innovative security, avatars which showed sentiment and dancing robots.  They were presented with talks on the wide ranging research themes, supercomputing facilities and opportunities to work with the University on many of these new initiatives.

The department aims to hold these events periodically as well as opportunities for recruitment in conjunction with our careers office.
