UNIQ Summer Schools
Applications for the CompSci UNIQ summer school are now open. (Not to mention all UNIQ residentials, in subjects ranging from Middle Eastern Studies to Earth Sciences.)

UNIQ is a programme of free summer schools at Oxford University. UNIQ is open to Year 12 (or equivalent) students studying at UK state schools/colleges. Students apply for a specific course that aims to give them a realistic view of Oxford student life.

UNIQ participants live in an Oxford college for one week in July or August. They attend lectures and seminars in their chosen subject, and workshops about applying to Oxford.  Participants can also take part in a variety of social activities each evening.

There are 1000 places available on the summer schools in 2014.   Applications for the 2014 UNIQ summer schools opened on Tuesday 7 January at 10:00 and will close on Monday 24 February 2013 at 17:00. 

As the UNIQ summer schools are an access programme, we give preference to applicants who come from schools and areas with little or no history of successful application to Oxford. (Therefore, an unsuccessful application to the UNIQ Summer School does not necessarily reflect on an applicant’s likelihood of being successful in an application for undergraduate study at the University of Oxford.)

Pathways Year 12 Study Days
Applications are now also open for the Oxford Pathways Programme Year 12 Study Days in March. Including the Computer Science one.  These allow year 12 students from non-selective state schools and colleges to spend a day studying a subject at Oxford with some of our academics.
