At the 12th IFAC-IEEE International Workshop on Discrete Event Systems (WODES), held on May 14-16 2014 at ENS de Cachan (France), the article "Backward Reachability of Autonomous Max-Plus-Linear Systems’', authored by D. Adzkiya (TU Delft), B. De Schutter (TU Delft), and A. Abate (Oxford), has been bestowed an award as a finalist for the Best Student Paper Prize.    

WODES is a biannual international conference, sponsored by IEEE and IFAC, which brings together researchers from different fields (control theoreticians and control engineers, software engineers and computer scientists, operations research specialists) working on the interdisciplinary area of Discrete Event Systems.
