I was a little uncertain about this at first, but as I've seen more I've gotten more excited, and now I'm really looking forward the first episode tomorrow.

Actually, of the current DC Universe of DC Studios (which they are simply calling the DC Universe), Creature Commandos was the first TV show. After that, there was Peacemaker Season 2, which established that the events of season one happened very similarly in the DC Universe. Peacemaker 2 did follow up on events from Superman, featured characters from the Justice Gang, as well as Lex Luthor, Sydney Happersen and Otis Berg, not to mention Rick Flag Sr. who appeared in all three DCU productions before Supergirl.

I'm really looking forward to this series. I'm not sure if I'll be able to watch all the episodes when they come out. What's the spoiler policy for this thread? I'm assuming each episode can be discussed as it's released but what about conjecture and online rumor?

Also really looking forward to it. I was cool with the first trailers having more like a road movie / reluctant partners vibe somewhere out in Bumtown but the later trailers also leaned much more into GL shenanigans, seems like a good mix. And i love seeing Kyle Chandler onscreen.

I wonder how Gunn plans to use them in live action or whereever since it's a far out team but then again he made a team movie with a talking tree and racoon one of the favorite teams in the MCU, so i guess we'll see. Also surprised the third movie in the DCU will be Clayface, one of the many 2nd tier Batman villains, also a surprising move.

This is getting the key position on Sunday nights, so they're really pushing it. If it comes across as more adult to an HBO audience without being overly graphic then I'm betting it will be a success.

I'm already liking both Hal and John, Hal is very different from how he's usually presented, but I'm OK with that. Don't really know much about John so I'm approaching his character fresh.
I looked on Wikipedia and it already says who "Waylon Sanders" boss is, but the trailer already made it kinda clear. But I'm getting a feeling that Macon might end up being the bigger bad here.
I did notice that everything from the trailer appeared to be from the 2016 story, which makes me wonder what exactly happens in the 2026 story that they aren't showing anything from it.
And it's pretty safe to say that even though this is an Earth based story, it's still very much a sci-fi Green Lantern story. And from the trailer it looks like the sci-fi elements will be a bigger part of it as it goes on.
