Spider-Noir and Stranger Things have been recognized in two visual effects categories.
Our creative teams at Industrial Light & Magic have received two nominations at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards.
ILM visual effects supervisor Bill Georgiou is among the nominees for Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Season or a Movie for Stranger Things Season Five, joining visual effects supervisor Betsy Paterson, visual effects art director Michael Maher, Jr., additional visual effects supervisor Sean Ames, additional visual effects supervisor Craig Seitz, visual effects co-producer Tessa Roehl, associate visual effects producer Chloe Lipp, senior visual effects editor Brad Tobler, Wētā FX senior visual effects supervisor Martin Hill, Wētā FX visual effects producer Richard Thwaites, visual effects consultant Jessica Smith, and special effects supervisor Mark Hawker.
ILM visual effects supervisor Cameron Neilson is among the nominees for Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Single Episode for “Nightmare on a Gurney” in Spider-Noir, joining visual effects supervisor Hnedel Maximore, visual effects producer Brooke Noska, additional visual effects supervisor Adam Rothstein, visual effects on-set supervisor Timothy Hanson, lead visual effects artist Jorge Macias, senior visual effects coordinator Taylor Faulkinberry, visual effects editor Joseph C Bond IV, Cinesite visual effects supervisor Suzie Askham, Barnstorm visual effects supervisor Tommy Tran, Eyeline VFX visual effects supervisor Adam Balentine, and CoSA VFX visual effects supervisor Sebastiano D’Aprile.
