The VR Games Showcase is back with a huge list of upcoming VR titles that are sure to keep you busy and help you beat the heat. From big announcements to upcoming releases and content updates to fan favorites, a whole lot was revealed during the show. If you missed it, you can watch it right here, or embedded below.

Among the biggest news from August’s showcase was the reveal of High On Life VR, a new take on the hilarious 2022 first-person shooter from Squanch Games, which is making its way to Meta Quest 3 and 3S thanks to the folks at Flat2VR Studios. Also coming from the world of flatscreen games is System Shock VR, a new VR take on the classic first-person shooter.

We also got new looks at heavy hitters such as PAYDAY: Aces High, DRIFTERS: Blackout Crew, and R.A.I.D., alongside big updates to favorites like Green Hell VR.

There’s a whole lot to take in, so below, we’ve rounded up every Meta Quest game in the showcase to bring you up to speed on everything that’s coming to the Meta Horizon Store, arranged in alphabetical order.

All On Board! | The Game Kitchen | Update Trailer

All On Board! brings board games to VR, allowing you to play tabletop games with your friends no matter where you are in the world. With a host of free games and a whole lot more you can purchase for DLC or try out for free, there’s plenty to keep you and your crew busy on board game night. Developer The Game Kitchen announced that All On Board! is adding Virus to its list of games on August 20, and you can add it to your library for free.

BattleGroupVR2 | SpaceOwl Games | Release Date Trailer

Space strategy game BattleGroupVR2 puts you in command of a vast spacefleet as you issue orders and direct your ships to secure victory — all from the bridge of your own flagship, in the thick of battle. The game combines open-world and roguelite elements with classic strategy gameplay to give you a galaxy to conquer, or you can take on other players in a consistent, multiplayer war. BattleGroupVR2 hits the Meta Horizon Store on August 28.

BrushHammer Miniature Painter | Soliton Interactive Inc. | Release Date Trailer

BrushHammer channels the Zen-like relaxation of painting miniature models, without any of the mess or cleanup of the real thing. With a host of digital painting tools, you still get the experience of carefully painting your models by hand, but with the freedom to try new ideas and techniques, or to risk making mistakes, without hurting any real-world models in the process. Developer Soliton Interactive announced that players can try their hands at BrushHammer on August 26.

COVR | XREAL Games | Gameplay Trailer

With next-generation visuals and high-stakes, unforgiving realism, COVR looks to redefine the military simulation shooter genre. It puts emphasis on tactical shooter gameplay, and you can take on its tough, intense battles alone or in co-op with a squad. Developer XREAL Games dropped a closer look at COVR’s gameplay at the VR Games Showcase, and you can check it out on the Meta Horizon Store for more info.

DRIFTERS: Blackout Crew | Salmi Games | Gameplay Trailer

After its reveal earlier this summer, we got a closer look at Salmi Games’ DRIFTERS: Blackout Crew at the VR Games Showcase, with a video that runs down some of its multiplayer extraction shooter gameplay. Get ready to team up with up to three friends to raid ancient alien temples, filled with powerful defenses that will test your first-person shooter skills. But while you’ll face tough enemies, you’ll have plenty of firepower of your own. Wishlist DRIFTERS: Blackout Crew on the Meta Horizon Store.

Grablings | Triangle Labs, Triangle Factory | Reveal Trailer

Jump into a party with Grablings, a social VR game in which you inhabit the stretchy armed creatures as they find new, ridiculous ways to have fun. With its reveal trailer, developer Triangle Labs showed off “Paint ‘n’ Seek,” a party game in which players run around a museum trying to hide from one another by painting themselves in order to blend in with the artwork. But that’s not the only game Grablings will include, with more to come in the future.

Green Hell VR | Incuvo S.A. | Update Trailer

Green Hell VR sends you into a punishing jungle with nothing but your wits — and maybe a few friends in co-op — as it forces you to find food, build shelter, and craft tools. Developer Incuvo showed off its latest update to its hit survival game, with a trailer that demonstrates its new modular building capabilities and new painting capabilities, so you can turn your makeshift shelters into a customized community. The free update is live right now, and you can grab Green Hell VR on the Meta Horizon Store.

High On Life VR | Squanch Games, Flat2VR Studios | Reveal Trailer

High On Life puts you in the role of a teenager who has just graduated high school and has no prospects, until aliens invade Earth and put you on the track to become a lethal intergalactic bounty hunter. As you fight through alien drug cartel members and work to save the world, you’ll team up with a series of talking guns (and one unhinged talking knife) that serve as your teammates and your weapons. High On Life VR is an over-the-top action-comedy that’s full of hilarious, and often improvised, dialogue, and is set to immerse you in its ludicrous alien world as never before. Knights of Fiona | CharacterBank Inc. | Gameplay and Beta Trailer

Take up your sword, call your companions to your side, and take on an epic adventure. Knights of Fiona is an RPG in the style of games like Final Fantasy or the Tales series, telling a winding tale as you explore a deep and expansive world. Developer CharacterBank provided a new look at Knights of Fiona’s gameplay with its VRGS trailer, while also announcing an open beta you can check out ahead of launch. Omega Pilot Evolution | XOCUS | Release Date Trailer

Futuristic racer Omega Pilot Evolution sends you rocketing down tracks in anti-gravity ships, making precision flying essential to winning. You can take the game on solo or against other players, hitting top speed across a number of tracks and using your earnings from winning to customize and improve your ship between races. Omega Pilot Evolution is slated to hit the Meta Horizon Store on August 27, and you can preorder it now.

Out of Sight VR | Flat2VR Studios, The Gang, Starbreeze Entertainment | Release Date Trailer

Trapped in a crumbling mansion, Sophie is struggling to make her way out of danger in survival-horror title Out of Sight VR. But while she’s blind, she has you, her trusty teddy bear, to guide her through the horrors, scout the path ahead, and find hidden passageways. That makes Out of Sight VR a second-person horror game as you work together with Sophie to uncover the mansion’s frightening past and get out alive. Out of Sight VR is headed to Meta Quest in Holiday 2026.

PAYDAY: Aces High | Fast Travel Games | Gameplay Trailer

Carefully plan heists, stealthily steal the loot, and fight your way out in intense shootouts in PAYDAY: Aces High. We got to see a heist in action in Fast Travel Games’ VR take on the hit cooperative shooter series, and it looks just as fast, exciting, and deadly as fans of the series have come to expect. R.A.I.D. | FusionPlay, Impact Inked | Gameplay Trailer

Stopping space piracy is a tough job, but somebody has to do it. That somebody is you in R.A.I.D., a cooperative shooter in which you inspect spaceships for contraband, and then enforce the law on enemy crews when you find it. We got a new, deeper look at R.A.I.D.’s gameplay during the VR Games Showcase, detailing the battles you can expect as you take on its interstellar brand of four-player co-op gunplay.

The Rifted Skies | DreamVR | Gameplay Trailer

First-person parkour title The Rifted Skies was impressive in its recent reveal trailer, and now that we’ve gotten a closer look at its gameplay, it looks even faster and more frenetic. Developer DreamVR introduced a new biome for the game, with more new areas to come in later announcements. The Rifted Skies is due to hit Meta Quest in Fall 2026, and you can wishlist it on the Meta Horizon Store now.

Stuffed: Two Foot Hero | Waving Bear Studio, Amplified Games | Reveal Trailer

A child’s nightmares threaten to overwhelm her, but luckily, she has friends — two-foot tall stuffed bears, to be exact. Stuffed: Two Foot Hero puts you into the paws of a teddy bear standing between your owner and wave after wave of frightening creatures, from shadowy monsters to animated garden gnomes. Team up with friends to build defenses to stop the advance, and fight back with homemade weapons on battlefields ranging from backyard playgrounds to toy-covered bedrooms. System Shock VR | Flat2VR Studios, Impact Inked | Reveal Trailer

System Shock was a monumental and influential first-person shooter when it originally launched in 1994. The incredible cyberpunk world of Citadel Station is reimagined in System Shock VR, which brings its intense gunplay into the modern era as you fight through a horde of genetically mutated creatures let loose on the station. System Shock VR is coming soon to Meta Quest — wishlist it now on the Meta Horizon Store.

Tiny Flock | No Break Games | Reveal Trailer

An immersive puzzle game from the developers of Human Fall Flat,  Tiny Flock sees you leading a group of sheep through some truly harrowing locations. In order to help them reach their destinations, you’ll need to create paths over obstacles, while also discovering some fascinating secrets along the way as you explore 21 different diorama-style levels. Total Chaos VR | Trigger Happy Interactive, Apogee Entertainment | Reveal Trailer

Survival-horror shooter Total Chaos VR sends you to Fort Oasis, a once-thriving outpost that is now deserted and decayed. As you delve deeper into the fort, you soon discover that it’s not as abandoned as it once seemed to be. You’ll cobble together makeshift weapons from whatever you can scavenge as you explore, while also struggling to determine whether what you’re experiencing is real, or just your own creeping madness. Trombone Champ: Unflattened! | Flat2VR Studio, Holy Wow Studios | DLC Trailer

Toot your way through some of the most iconic songs ever to grace a movie soundtrack with the new DLC coming to Trombone Champ: Unflattened! In the Disney Music Magic Vol. 1 pack, you get to play through songs from Disney classics such as Aladdin, Toy Story, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid. Test your trombone-playing, rhythm game skills with some beloved songs — the first installment of the Disney Music Magic DLC launches on August 20.

Vertigo Rush | Sumalab | Early Access Trailer
 

Steampunk platformer Vertigo Rush has you running, leaping, and flying through a floating city at ridiculous speeds. The game’s maps are all built to reward skill, encouraging you to practice using all your abilities to maximize your speed, and to find the best routes to your destinations. Vertigo Rush is available right now in Early Access on the Meta Horizon Store, and currently offers single-player and multiplayer races, as well as a time trial mode with global leaderboards.
