The Strictly stars were out in full force on Saturday as they made their way to the studio ahead of the live competition. 

Lauren Oakley - who will be JB Gill's temporary partner after Amy Dowden was forced to pull out following her health scare - headed to the studios in grey trousers and a grey cropped jumper.

The professional dancer sported a pair of large hoop earrings and wrapped up against the winter cold in a puffer jacket.

JB's pro partner Amy, 34, was rushed to hospital during last week's live show after she collapsed backstage.

While she recovers, the BBC announced Lauren would be stepping in for Amy and dancing with the JLS star, 37.

JB and Lauren will be dancing Couple's Choice routine to Bruno Mars for the first ever Icons Week.

Posting a picture of JB and Lauren on her Instagram ahead of the show, Amy said: 'Wishing these to the absolute best of luck tonight! I'm going to be your biggest cheerleader!'

BBC bosses have said they are 'hopeful' that Amy will return next week.

Joining Lauren were comedian Chris McCausland, 47, and his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell, 35, who appeared in great spirits as they walked side by side.

The duo who have been tipped as favourites to win the competition after impressing the judges with their Cha Cha Cha, looked thrilled to be performing for another week.

Dianne was all smiles as she walked along in green unitard with a black buttoned up coat and black Dr Marten boots. 

Letting her bright red locks fall loose down her shoulders, the dancer completed her outfit with a crossover handbag and put on an animated display as she gave a high five to the camera.

Comedian Chris - who has made history as the show's first ever blind contestant - kept it casual in a green jacket, blue T-shirt and grey jogging bottoms.

Also in attendance at rehearsals were Sam Quek and Tasha Ghouri who opted to go makeup free for the outing.

The former Love Island star, 26, opted for a laid back look for the outing as she donned an oversized brown coat which she wore over a brown trousers and an oversized white T-shirt. 

Sam, 36, also went for a comfortable look as she sported a baggy tracksuit and trainers.

Wynne Evans, who has had two number one classical musical albums and performed at iconic venues including London’s Royal Albert Hall, was spotted without his dance partner Katya Jones.

The Welsh opera singer cut a casual figure in a dark blue shacket which he wore over the top of a white T-shirt and jeans.

Wearing a pair of blue socks and brown Birkenstocks, the radio presenter wheeled his blue suitcase along as he got out of the car, alongside fellow celeb dancer Jamie Borthwick.

After losing an astonishing 7 stone in the past year – what he modestly describes as 'a bit of timber' - Wynne revealed even more weight has fallen off since signing up for the BBC One dance show.

His health kick began after his weight crept up to almost 24 stone and he started facing ‘trouble washing and getting up the stairs’.

Speaking to The Mail he said: 'I'm more body confident. Looking in the mirror all day is a bit odd for me, because the mirror is something I always try to avoid.

'But I'm really enjoying it. I haven't seen my neck in a long time. I feel like a giraffe!'

Wynne put his weight loss down to a calorie-controlled diet, long walks with his new love, events manager Liz Brookes, 50, and the physical demands of Strictly.

Jamie - who last month shut down any romance rumours with his pro partner Michelle Tsiakkas when he was spotted having dinner with a mystery blonde - braved the cold in a pair of grey shorts and a blue fleece as he headed towards the studio. 

Elsewhere, actor Shayne Ward joined his dance partner Nancy Xu at the London studio where they warmly greeted the photographers.

Dressed in joggers and a jumper, Shayne gave a thumbs up whilst a beaming Nancy wrapped up against the cold in a yellow hat, oversized coat and fluffy shoes.
