John Barrowman and Emily Atack had This Morning Sunday viewers in hysterics when they appeared on screen with chocolate smeared across their faces following a segment on Easter Eggs.

The I'm A Celebrity co-stars were in a typically naughty mood as they hosted the ITV stalwart for the second time, two days after they made their debut presenting stint on Friday.

The giddy pals were sure to brighten up everyone's day after they went to town on a number of Easter Eggs and were caught with silky milk chocolate all around their mouths.

The shot opened with Emily, 29, licking chocolate off John's face before the Doctor Who star, 52, attempted to deliver a piece to camera with the treat all over his teeth.

He laughed: 'Honestly, I didn't eat them all there's one left!' to which Emily responded: 'Oh, we ate them all.'

'You do realise we're going to have diabetes by the end of the programme from this?' he added. 'It's not good.' 

Bidding viewers adieu to the impending ads, John reassured fans: 'Dr Chris and the Queen of clean are next. We'll be back soon once we clean off our faces' before he launched at Emily and tried to kiss her with his chocolate covered face. 

The hilarious moment left viewers at home in stitches and had them applauding the pair's infectious banter on Twitter, pleading with ITV bosses to have them as show regulars.  

One viewer said: '@JohnBarrowman cracking the egg at Emily's head was the funniest thing'.

'It's so funny seeing John and Emily present together hope they become regular stand ins,' another shared. 'Love @JohnBarrowman & @EmAtack on @thismorning'.

The rib-tickling segment comes after the duo left viewers in hysterics as they presented a chaotic segment about lambing.

Things got off to a dodgy start as Emily dropped a four-week-old lambs they interviewed a farmer and his flock about lambing season.

Blushing and squealing her apologies, the Inbetweeners star was left flustered whilst John made a cheeky quip that the animal had squirted milk everywhere.

Things went from bad to worse for the pair as they ended up covered in sheep excrement after cuddling the farmyard animals, with Emily wailing: 'Have you got any tips on how to get lamb poo out of a dress? 

John also didn't get away without damage, revealing that his leg was damp with sheep urine, as he exclaimed: 'She’s got lamb poo on her dress and I’ve got lamb wee on my leg.'
