Shoppers have been going wild over a £32 electric fan heater which can heat the whole room for just 40p per hour.

Argos has been selling a fan heater that shoppers are calling 'small yet mighty' and a 'life saver'.

The Challenge 2kW Ceramic Fan Heater from Argos will set you back just £32, and boasts three heating modes, safety cut out switch to prevent it from overheating as well as a tip-over protection switch. 

The product has received over 400 five star reviews, with many customers praising it for being 'extremely efficient' and 'great value for money.' 

The heater also features a 1.8 metre cord and its freestanding designing and thermostatic control make it transportable and also great for the summer months when temperatures rise.

Meanwhile shoppers have been going wild for the product online, and flooded the Argos website with positive reviews. 

One customer commented: 'Bought this during the recent cold snap to add extra warmth.

'For the size of it, it gives out a decent amount of heat and will easily heat up a small room. Didn't look too bad in terms of electricity usage. 

'Good price, compact size and good heat.'
