APA Affinity Groups provide a welcoming space for members to connect, build community, and support one another. These gatherings are designed to encourage social connection, belonging, empowerment, and wellbeing within a brave and inclusive space.

The LGBTQIA+ Affinity Group brings together LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies for connection, conversation, and community.

Who can participate?
All APA members in good standing are welcome, regardless of training level, academic scholarship, or personal or professional identity. Faculty and trainees are encouraged to participate, and meetings include breakout rooms for Affinity Group conversations.
