Body language expert Judi James has theorized that the singer, 41, may be headed for another romantic disaster after analyzing clips of her and Trudeau, 53.
After splitting from ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom in July, Katy Perry has wasted no time in flaunting her new relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The singer, 41, recently went Instagram official with her new beau, posting loved-up videos to social media of the two exploring Japan.
However, body language expert Judi James has theorized that she may be headed for another romantic disaster after analyzing the clips.
The Roar singer shared a post to Instagram last week, showing herself and Trudeau, 53, sat next to each other, grinning and giggling while they ate sushi.
Fans couldn't help but compare how she acted around her new flame to how she behaved around her ex Bloom, after a resurfaced video of the former couple also dining out in Japan showed a much more subdued and serious demeanor.
According to body language expert James, who analyzed the videos, the singer's opposite behavior around Trudeau may actually indicate she's in danger of having her heart broken again.
'She might be a pinball dater,' James shared with the Daily Mail.
'[That's] someone who comes pinging out of one type of failed relationship to go to the opposite extreme in a bid to avoid making the same mistake twice, which can work on repeat endlessly.'

In the video of Perry and Bloom, the two looked somber and stiff as they sat in the restaurant, starring at the camera while they sipped on sake.
And according to James, the video was full of warning signs from both parties.
'It's always a red flag when your guy eye-flirts with the camera more than you, as Orlando is doing here,' the expert said.
'But that flag-waving effect can only be exacerbated when it's a trait both partners share.'
She also pointed out that there's a 'cool and relaxed spatial distancing' between the couple, which she claimed suggests a 'competitive approach to success and fame and maybe a slightly cynical approach to each other.'
'Their auras of power and strength appear matching here and with no eye contact or any tie signs apart from the clinking of their glasses, the body language could be that of two guys on a stag night,' she continued.
'The only signals of romance here are thrown from both Orlando and Katy directly at the camera rather than each other,' James also observed.
'Katie's female peacocking to the camera doesn't seem to elicit any obvious interest from Orlando, who doesn't appear to be tuned in to her here, except in a very laid-back way.

'It looks like a sophisticated and grown-up relationship of equals but with little in the way of signals of shared fun, intimacy, or exclusivity.'
The pair called it quits in July after nearly a decade of their on–and-off relationship, six years of being engaged and one child together.
In the clip with Trudeau, James claimed the politician was giving signals of 'teenage excitement, playfulness and expectation,' with long glances of 'adoration and approval' to the popstar.
'With Trudeau, Katy seems to have found a man who is a polar opposite in terms of his non-verbal definition of their relationship,' James said.
'Trudeau has adopted a very youthful look here, rather than a more mature and sophisticated one, and this is a complete no-go zone in terms of any hint of Orlando-styled state of "cool" or "cynical."
'His eye expression radiates excitement and his breathless grin shows his cheeks and lips hiked up into a smile of delight.'
James warned, however, that trouble may be brewing in paradise.
'Like most "pinballers," [Perry] still seems to be leaning into the "stag do" style of behaviors rather than creating a matching fit with Trudeau's determinedly romantic 'first love' behaviors here,' she explained.
