Socialist Amish Shah featured in a new POLITICO report on the growing trend of Vegan Democrat candidates crusading against Americans’ meat consumption.

Shah identifies as “Vegan” and “founded the Arizona Vegetarian Food Festival, where he argued in a 2015 speech that meat consumption can cause cancer,” they reported.

• VIDEO: Shah said eating meat caused “DNA damage.” Shah added, “When they do bypass surgeries, they’re not pulling broccoli out of there, okay? Yeah, they’re pulling cheese and they’re pulling meat out of that…”
• Shah, who supports a socialist government takeover of health care, needs to answer if he believes a government-run health system should monitor, ban, tax or limit meat consumption?
