"So tell me your story..." 🎙️ The official trailer has debuted for the music doc titled Sara Bareilles: Good Grief, another documentary about a musician that is pretty much just marketing for their new album. This film premiered at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival earlier this summer and will be playing in theaters briefly in September. For the first time in seven years, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles returns to the studio with close friends to begin recording her most intimate album yet, born of profound personal loss and grief. The doc captures working on the album also titled "Good Grief" that released earlier this summer. The conversations Bareilles and company share during breaks from the studio feel viscerally personal and also offer valuable insights into the state of the music industry. It all makes for a touching journey through one community of musicians' creative process. Looks like an emotional doc for fans of Bareilles & her music.
