CK Solution has won a construction order for Samsung Electronics' Pyeongtaek P5 facility.

CK Solution said August 14 that it won an order worth about 30.8 billion won for finishing work on Phase 1 (Ph1) of P5 at Samsung Electronics' Pyeongtaek campus. The contract runs through July 30, 2027.

The company plans to expand its participation in subsequent semiconductor fab projects, including P5 Phases 2 through 4, following the P5 Ph1 project. It also plans to target new semiconductor production facilities, including Samsung Electronics' Pyeongtaek campus and the Yongin Semiconductor Cluster.

CK Solution is expanding its semiconductor manufacturing infrastructure business. In February, it won a 12.3 billion won order for an expansion project at Amkor Technology Korea's Songdo plant.

CK Solution's businesses include semiconductor cleanrooms, data-center air-conditioning systems, battery dry rooms and bio cleanrooms.

In the battery dry-room business, CK Solution has secured exclusive rights in South Korea to supply dehumidifying rotors made by Japan's Nichias. Its customers include LG Energy Solution, Samsung SDI and SK On.

CK Solution reported consolidated revenue of 85 billion won and operating profit of 600 million won for the second quarter of 2026. Revenue increased 45% from a year earlier and 56% from the previous quarter. Operating profit swung to a profit.

A company official said new orders for battery dry rooms and major customers' investments to shift toward energy storage systems (ESS) contributed to the increase in revenue.
