Cempa Community Care has announced that two members of its leadership team, Ian Stanbery, director of Facility Operations, and Amy Eldridge, director of Clinical Administration and Operations, have successfully completed the UCLA Health Care Executive Program, a nationally recognized leadership development program for healthcare executives.
Designed to prepare current and emerging healthcare leaders for the complex challenges facing the industry, the UCLA Health Care Executive Program brings together professionals from across the country for intensive coursework focused on leadership, strategy, operational excellence, organizational performance, and innovation in healthcare.
Mr.
Stanbery and Ms. Eldridge are the latest members of Cempa's leadership team to complete the prestigious program, reflecting the organization's ongoing commitment to investing in professional development that strengthens patient care and organizational excellence.
"The UCLA Health Care Executive Program challenged me to think differently about leadership, innovation, and operational excellence in healthcare," said Mr. Stanbery. "I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from such exceptional faculty and staff, whose expertise and mentorship made the experience truly invaluable. Equally meaningful were the relationships and connections I built with fellow healthcare leaders from across the country, whose diverse perspectives enriched every discussion. The program has strengthened my ability to lead through change and equipped me with new tools that will help us continue improving access, efficiency, and the quality of care we provide to our patients and community."
Ms. Eldridge, also a member of Regional Health Council, said the program reinforced the connection between effective leadership and the patient experience.
"Taking part in the program was such a great experience," said Ms. Eldridge. "It pushed me to think bigger and lead more intentionally. But what really hit home was the takeaway that at the end of the day, everything we do comes back to the patient. Better systems, better teams, better care. That's what drives me, and I'm leaving this program more energized than ever to keep building healthcare that truly serves patients and communities."
