In case you didn't know, elected politicians are expected to disclose their income every year.

AOC just filed her 2025 disclosure, and the internet has some thoughts about her personal finances.

According to her filing, she has up to $50,000 in a savings account. On that savings account, which I would have to guess is a high yield (so millennial core), she made up to $1,000 in interest.

She has up to $15,000 in a checking account, and up to $1,000 in a brokerage account.

Two financial accounts listed: Charles Schwab Bank Checking ($1,001-$15,000, no interest) and Charles Schwab One Brokerage ($1-$1,000, interest)

She has up to $15,000 in a 401(k) plan.

Text shows a financial investment: "National Hispanic Institute Inc. 401K Plan → T. Rowe Price Spectrum Income Fund (RPSIX) [MF] $1,001 - $15,000 Tax-Deferred."

And finally, she still has up to $50,000 in student loan debt from 2007.

Sooo, to summarize, she has at most $66K in the bank and $50K in student loan debt.

Relatable!

A post about those numbers is going viral:

A tweet discusses a public figure's financial disclosure showing assets under $66K in bank accounts, under $15K in a mutual fund, and $50K in student loan debt

A bunch of people are pointing out just how millennial it all is:
"You may not love her. But you can't deny she's a quintessential millennial."
