Orlando Brown Jr is being taken to court by his ex-girlfriend, Holly Means, over property she alleges he will not return.

Means is accusing the NFL star of acting in 'anger and spite' in court documents, according to TMZ, and claiming he refused to return her belongings after the end of their long-term relationship.

The couple lived in Brown's Ohio home with their two children until breaking up in June 2025. She alleges in the civil theft lawsuit that the Cincinnati Bengals player forced her out of the property without notice before she could collect all of her belongings.

Means claims some of her belongings are now in Oklahoma and Kansas City, alleging her ex-boyfriend has blocked attempts to retrieve them. In the documents, she claims she showed up with police in January 2026 to collect her property but Brown refused to answer the door.

Brown has denied wrongdoing and claimed his ex-girlfriend showed up unannounced after he had asked her not to. He is asking for the case to be dismissed with prejudice, also alleging she abandoned the property by leaving it behind after their break-up.

Means is seeking more than $25,000 in damages along with return of the property and punitive damages, accusing Brown of acting with 'anger and spite' and with 'ill will or a spirit of revenge' after he moved back to Oregon with their children.

Brown is currently in training camp ahead of a big year for both himself and the Cincinnati Bengals, with whom he signed a four-year, $64 million contract in 2023 after leaving the Kansas City Chiefs.

Star quarterback Joe Burrow said in the offseason he believes the Bengals have 'the most talented roster' during his time in the NFL.

And after problems protecting Burrow as a unit in recent years, Brown now believes the team will have the strongest pass-protection unit in the league.

'I really think - and I say this confidently - I really feel like we got the best pass protection unit in the NFL,' Brown said during a recent appearance on the 'Locked On Bengals' podcast.

'There isn't a lot of groups that could come do what we do on a week-to-week basis and have the success that we've had, especially with the circumstances.'

He faced questions about his own performances at left tackle last season, but insists he is not concerned about his own regression.

'I was one-on-one more often last year than any other tackle in the NFL,' Brown said during an interview shared by Sitdown 513 earlier this offseason.

'When you look at that, and you break that down, and you take time and go look at whoever, any of these tackles that have had the number of games that I have had in one-on-one pass protection, I think you'd just see the reality that the system that I play in, my mistakes are going to glare a lot more than others.

'There isn't a guy in the NFL that's been in a more vulnerable position than myself at the left tackle position. I'm not really worried about 'regression.' I'm only getting better.'
