Kim Kardashian took to Instagram on Thursday to share bikini-clad photos from her recent lake trip.

The 45-year-old mogul flaunted her famous curves in a stringy black two-piece in multiple photos, writing in the caption that she was 'lakemaxxing.'

It comes amid news that Kardashian has opted to waive $167,000 in legal fees owed to her by Ivan Cantu, after he lost a lawsuit brought against her, per TMZ.

In February 2024, the reality television star misidentified Cantu as a death row inmate, plastering his image on social media in a bid to save a man of the same name from imminent execution.

Cantu later attempted to take her to court for damages, claiming she 'labeled him a criminal to her 350+ million followers... at a very sensitive time in his life, causing anxiety and depression.' 

The suit was dismissed and Cantu was ordered to foot the SKIMS founder's legal bill. According to TMZ's report, Kardashian and Cantu have resolved the matter privately.  

The outlet said a legal rep for Kardashian stated: 'This is a lawsuit that should never have been filed. 

'The Court agreed and threw it out and ordered that [Ivan] pay Kim's legal fees. Kim agreed to waive those fees and so [Ivan] has dismissed his case with prejudice.'

Earlier this year, the star faced pushback from fans for asking for her fees to be paid despite her billionaire financial status.

Cantu previously argued in his lawsuit that Kardashian was 'born and raised in great wealth and luxury' and 'enjoys substantial income and wealth through sponsors of her social media posts due to a large number of followers.'

'While some of her posts may concern social causes, most of her posts published sponsored products and services and celebrity news,' it was added.

Cantu sued Kardashian in February 2025, telling the court in a filing that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star 'published and disseminated false information' about him that injured his reputation.

He said her posting the wrong picture on such an important issue 'was clearly untrue, erroneous, unfounded, shocking, scandalous, degrading, disgraceful, and/or shameful.'

Attorneys for Kardashian told the Daily Mail the misidentification was a 'simple mistake' that sprung from 'Kim’s longstanding commitment to the cause of criminal justice reform.'

They added: 'The image was taken down almost immediately once the error was discovered.'

Kardashian's 14-year-old niece Penelope Disick and eight-year-old daughter Chicago appeared in a snap shared in her carousel post. 

The post is nearing one million likes from her 344 million followers.

Her previous post, shared four days earlier, memorialized her late grandmother MJ Campbell, who died in mid July at age 91.

The multihyphenate took to social media to remember the matriarch on what would have been her 92nd birthday.

'Happy Heavenly 92nd Birthday grandma! It’s only been a week but wow the amount of things I’ve learned about you this week from going through all of your stuff with mom has been beautiful!' she wrote.

She added, 'I thought I knew it all! Makes me respect you and love you more if that’s even possible. Today we celebrate you! I miss you like crazy and I love you endlessly my sweet grandma MJ.'
