Peter Andre has revealed what he really thinks about his 15-year-old daughter Princess dating her first boyfriend. 

The teenager went public with her new romance last month as she invited her boyfriend to celebrate her mother Katie Price's 45th birthday. 

Princess and her new beau joined Katie's fiancé Carl Woods, 34, her sister Bunny, eight, and brother Jett, nine, for a family meal at Donatellos in Brighton. 

And now Peter, 50, has spoken out about Princess' teen romance and how he is getting 'really stressed out at the thought'.

Admitting that he was an 'overprotective dad', Peter also joked how he used to tell Princess that she would be a 'nun' when she grew up.

But taking lessons from his wife Emily, Peter revealed he had learnt that 'whatever rules' he had for his elder son Junior at 15, should be 'the same' for Princess. 

Writing in his OK! magazine column, he explained: 'I'm getting asked constantly about Princess having a boyfriend. What I will say is that I'm really stressed out at the thought'.

He continued: 'I'm an overprotective dad. Many of you will remember when I used to joke when the kids were younger that Princess would be a nun!'

'But I've learnt I can't treat the girls differently from the boys. 

'Whatever rules I had for Junior at 15 should be the same for Princess. It's the right decision, although an incredibly stressful one for any parent!

'Emily taught me that whatever rule I gave to Junior, I had to treat all the other children the same and she has made me look at things differently and change my old-school mentality,' he added.

Princess is yet to confirm the identity of her new beau, but recently appeared happier than ever as she was joined by him at her half-brother Harvey's 21st birthday.

It comes after Peter recently also spoke about how he'd feel if his son Junior, 17, or Princess, wanted to go on Love Island when they're older. 

'I've sort of said to them I'd love you to try and present it rather than be a contestant, but then again, I've always said there's some great people who have come from the show,' he told MailOnline. 

'Look at Molly Mae and Tommy - they've done so well, and they've stayed together. So there is a lot of good things that come from it.'
