Katie Price is no longer using her £3million 'mucky mansion' as a second hand car lot after local council chiefs threatened enforcement action.

The former glamour model, 45, was locked in a row with Horsham District Council amid fears a car sales business was being run from her West Sussex home by her former fiancé Carl Woods, 34. 

Pictures released in 2021 showed an array of cars parked on the driveway at the West Sussex property including a Mercedes, Jaguar and a Range Rover.

Under planning laws, storing and selling cars from a residential address can be seen as an unauthorised 'change of use' of the home.

Anyone breaking the rules can expect an unlimited fine and incidents could lead to repossession and fees.

Horsham District Council bosses launched an enforcement investigation last September into the 'alleged running of a second-hand car business'.

Planning documents seen by MailOnline reveal the case has now been closed in July  after 'the breach ceased'.

A Horsham District Council spokesperson said: 'The case was closed after the unauthorised use ceased and no enforcement action was taken in this regard.'

Council officials previously launched a planning enforcement investigation into the 'alleged running of a second-hand car business' in December 2021 but the case was closed in March 2022.

At the time, Carl listed the address of Katie's home as the place to come and view his fleet of second-hand cars.

Katie is understood to have split with Carl after they unfollowed each other on Instagram last month. 

In a recent Q&A with fans on TikTok, the glamour model was also said to have avoided mentioning the businessman.

This is not the first time that Katie has been in hot water with local council chiefs.

In 2019, Horsham District Council began enforcement proceedings after the glamour model started building work on a beauty studio, gym and horse paddock without permission.

Planning enforcement offices concluded in September 2019 that the development was a 'breach of planning control' and issued a temporary stop notice to stop the development from continuing.

She had three months to restore the land to how it was before or face a fine of upto £20,000.

Katie bought the sprawling West Sussex house in 2014, and includes the 1930s house - which comes with 12.25 acres, a swimming pool, tennis courts, stables and paddocks.

She was once said to be worth £40million from a career as a model, author, and businesswoman.

However, Katie was declared bankrupt in 2019 but was allowed to enter into an Individual Voluntary Arrangement, a deal to pay back some of her debts.

Katie previously agreed to pay £12,000 a month through the deal but her creditors claim she has not been sticking to it. 

A hearing into Katie's bankruptcy has been postponed five times, after it was originally scheduled to take place in June 2022.

A considerable amount of the £3.265m is owed for mortgages secured against her mansion in West Sussex.

She is due back in court next February.
