Marion Cotillard and Juliette Binoche showed off their glamorous sense of style as they stepped out on Friday to the 49th Cesar Film Awards at L'Olympia in Paris, France.

The French actress, 48, looked nothing short of sensational as she put on a very leggy display in a silver sequin mini dress.

The stunning ensemble showcased Marion's toned figure and boasted a bandeau neckline and sheer black floor-length cape.

The screen star, who is best known for her roles in independent films and blockbusters, further elevated her height with a pair of black court stiletto heels.

To finish off the glamorous look, Marion further accessorised with some silver star earrings and adorned a glowy makeup look consisting of a smokey eye palette and a rosy lip.

Meanwhile, Juliette, 59, ensured all eyes were on her as she graced the red carpet in a stunning black and white gown.

The elegant ensemble, which boasted an off-the-shoulder design, featured a white satin belt that cinched Juliette's waist to show off her slender figure.

She opted for further accessorising the floor-length gown with a pair of silver diamond droplet earrings and added inches to her frame with a pair of black platform heels.

Later in the evening, Marion was seen on stage presenting the Honorary Cesar Award to British filmmaker Christopher Nolan, 53.

Christopher looked dapper as he sported a navy blue tux when gracefully accepting the award.

In the sweet snap, the beauty can be seen all smiles as she embraced Christopher in an endearing hug to offer him her congratulations.

It comes after The Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques announced that it would honour Christopher Nolan during its ceremony.

They claimed earlier this week that Christopher would receive César d’Honneur at the 49th César Ceremony, in partnership with Canal+. 

Previous recipients of the Award include Michael Douglas, who has won it twice, George Clooney, Will Smith, and Kate Winslet.

Explaining their decision to honour Christopher at this year's awards, the Academy said: 'The release of each of his films is a major event. 

'Since his debut with Following, Christopher Nolan has an unwavering passion for and commitment to the theatrical filmgoing experience, continually shattering the limits of cinematic storytelling. 

The Academy continued: 'His films, including Tenet, Dunkirk, Interstellar, Inception and the The Dark Knight trilogy, have won a multitude of awards around the world, including 11 Oscars. 

'His latest masterpiece, Oppenheimer, a veritable worldwide phenomenon, has been acclaimed by critics and audiences alike for its revolutionary visual aesthetic. 

'Christopher Nolan is a master of filmmaking, capable of redefining the limits of cinematic excellence and transporting us beyond the boundaries of space and time. 

They finished: 'He transcends cinema to make it an unforgettable experience.'

Christopher received the Best Director Golden Globe at this year's awards and broke down during his acceptance speech.

It was his first-ever win, having previously been nominated for Memento (2000), Inception (2010) and Dunkirk (2017).

Christopher recalled that the only time he had ever given an acceptance speech at the Globes was on behalf of the late Heath Ledger in 2008.

German actress Diane Kruger, 47, also made a show-stopping entrance at the awards ceremony as she stepped out in a pink babydoll mini dress that featured lace-up ribbon detailing and a patchwork skirt.

Diane's chic garment featured a darker panel of pink material at the front while the rest of the dress was made from a satin material in a lighter shade of pink.

Ribbon ran through the dress and crossed over, with lengths of the material hanging down from the hem of the skirt.

She was seen posing with French actor and film director Dany Boon, 57, during the event.

The star-studded event comes after Marion put her best fashion foot forward at the Firebrand premiere during the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival last year.

The star looked a vision in a tweed wrap-around jacket dress that flaunted her toned legs.

Marion also opted for elevating her height with a pair of chunky Chanel platforms and further accessorised with a sparkling diamante necklace.
