Vedic meditation originated in ancient India and involves sitting with the eyes closed while silently repeating a personalised sound known as a bija, or seed, mantra.
Elsewhere in the interview, Miranda revealed she rarely works out these days after retiring as a Victoria's Secret Angel in 2013.
She said she used to exercise five or six times a week before lingerie shows, but now relies on healthy eating habits to maintain her figure.
'Now, it's very different. Honestly, right now, I'm just doing the Megan Rupp 10 minute quickie workouts. Just every other day, but I eat really well,' she said.
The Australian model also detailed her health routine, revealing the diet she follows to maintain her appearance and wellbeing.
'I've been drinking noni juice since I was 13. I'm 43 - [that's] 30 years!' she said.
'Noni juice is a superfood, superfruit. It originates from Tahiti, but it can grow in other parts of the world like Australia too.'

The former Victoria's Secret model said on Let's Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari that her 15-year-old recently learned Vedic meditation in a 'ceremony'
Miranda said she drinks a 30ml shot every morning because she believes it is rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, and even gives some to her youngest child.
The former Victoria's Secret model then follows it with homemade tea made from marshmallow leaf, as it is 'good for the gut lining'.
Her early morning ritual also includes coconut yoghurt with a dollop of locally-sourced honey as well as a 'bite of a banana'.
Only after completing her wellness routine does Miranda allow herself her morning coffee.
Miranda said she avoids traditional cow's milk and instead uses coconut milk in her coffee.
As for her chosen brand of brew, Miranda said she only drinks Fabula coffee as it is 'mould-free and lead-free'.
'I had it tested personally to make sure because I don't always believe the labels,' she revealed.
She also adds maple syrup rather than conventional sweeteners.

When it comes to breakfast, Miranda said eggs are off the menu. Instead she gets her protein from high-quality meats like venison, bison, lamb and turkey.
'I eat all the meats that aren't mass-produced,' she said.
While Miranda admitted she is 'not much of a fruit girl', she said bananas remain one of her favourite snacks.
'A banana is a great snack to go when you have to be on the run. It's got good potassium and it's something quick.'
Miranda said she avoids dairy, wheat and eggs, and is particularly careful about the oils she uses.
'I'm very specific about the oils. So only cooking with coconut oil or avocado oil. No seed oils. Olive oil is okay on salads, but not to cook with,' she noted.
Instead of bread or rice, Miranda said she prefers vegetables as her main source of carbohydrates, explaining: 'I really eat a lot of squash, carrots and parsnips.'
The model also revealed she limits how much seafood she eats, saying she is mindful of mercury levels in fish.
'I do have a little bit of salmon, but not too much because of the mercury that's in salmon.'
However, sushi is completely off the menu due to the risk of 'parasites'.
'I used to live on sushi when I lived in New York until I learned [about parasites],' she said.
Despite avoiding sushi, Miranda said she still enjoys eating caviar.
'I do love caviar. Caviar is good, there's no parasites there. It's good for you. Good fat,' she said.
Although she maintains a strict diet, Miranda said she does still enjoy sweet treats – but with her own twist.
She revealed she makes carob treats and hot drinks with her younger children during 'tea parties'.
'My little six-year-old and actually the baby, we have tea parties. So we'll do a lemon balm tea and then I'll get this carob. The carob I also tested that is lead-free.'
Miranda added that she still enjoys chocolate flavours and makes her own version of hot chocolate with carob, coconut milk and maple syrup.
