She shares the newborn with Strictly Come Dancing star husband Pasha, with the couple also being parents to another daughter Maven, two.

She captioned the heartfelt post:  'A sombre International Women’s Day today.

'Big responsibility raising girls. Every time we pack up what feels like half our belongings take with us to Manchester to look after two little ones for 3 days filming, I’m thinking of the women who’ve had to pack up their lives into their car, or bags, say goodbye to their men, and leave everything for who knows how long.

'We’re so lucky to be living in peace with our family intact.'

'This is in addition to the projects he funds under the umbrella of his 7 Fund which aims to support children around the world, particularly girls realise their potential.'

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, David said: 'Like you I have watched the situation in Ukraine unfold in horror and disbelief.

'With my family safe around me, I felt the helplessness we all share when faced with scenes of despair.'

He continued: 'Victoria and I have made a donation on behalf of our family to kickstart the appeal. We would be so grateful if you could join us in helping UNICEF support these children. Please give what you can today.'
