He won the hearts of the nation when he coupled up with surfer babe Laura Crane on Love Island.

Despite their split earlier this week,  Jack Fowler looked happy as he stepped out in Manchester with Series 2 Islander Scott Thomas.

The east London born star donned double denim and clean white trainers as he left the city's Rosso Restaurant.

He teamed washed out jeans with a white stripe with fresh trainers, a purple hoody and denim jacket. 

The 22-year-old wore his black cap backwards and laughed with Scott as they walked through town.

Scott opted for a red, white and navy zip-up Fila jacket and jeans along with snazzy white trainers.

Laura Crane and Jack Fowler became the third couple from this year's Love Island to split when they announced the break-up earlier this week. 

Just two months after finding love in the villa, the reality TV couple called time on their romance, with Jack celebrating his single status with a night out in Brighton on Saturday.

The split comes just days after Laura Anderson parted ways from Paul Knops.

Laura told Metro.co.uk: 'Sadly Jack and I have both decided to go our separate ways due to such busy schedules right now and not having the time to spend together.

'Feel truly blessed to have got to share my Love Island experience with him and to have made a friend for life, we will carry on supporting each other on this journey and I can't wait to see where it takes us.'

Jack added: 'We met in extraordinary circumstances and had an amazing time getting to know each other, both whilst in the villa and outside of it but our lives are currently taking us in different directions, we will remain friends and I will support her in whatever she does.'

Despite the break-up, Jack appeared in high spirits as he cosied up to a bevvy of beauties at Shoosh nightclub in Brighton. 

The Love Island hunk seemed to be lapping up the female attention as he posed and took shots with a buxom blonde before wrapping his arms around another woman.  

Pro-surfer Laura and Jack departed the villa as a couple after he ended his romance with Laura Anderson.

Laura previously admitted they had been 'taking it slower' since they re-entered the real world. She said: 'We're not officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Since we came out we are taking it slower.

'We're just not rushing. We've seen other things go wrong, but we do have genuine feelings. I trust him and I will trust him until I have reason not to.'

Discussing how their relationship has had its ups and downs since leaving the Love Island villa, she confessed: 'When we first came out we felt the pressure'.

She also spoke about the staggering amount of female attention Jack gets at nightclub PAs, where she reasoned: 'I 100 percent trust him and I said to him that 'I will trust you until I have reason not to'. I have no reason not to believe him.

For me, as long as we have each other's word and we trust each other like that then 'you can't rise to every story that comes out or every girl that has made claims. 

I'm super chilled. I've grown up always around boys and in the surfing world. For me, I know how it works from watching girls go to guys. So it's never something I'm sat at home stressing about when he's at a PA. I trust him.'
