Shakira mingled with A-listers Beyoncé and David Beckham backstage at the World Cup as she shared a series of Instagram photos following her half-time performance.

The singer, 49, looked happier than ever as she reunited with Beyoncé, 44, after collaborating on their 2007 hit Beautiful Liar.

Shakira wowed in a Marine Serre half-moon print co-ord, while the Single Ladies hitmaker stunned in a white cropped blazer which she layered over a lace jumpsuit.

The pair were all smiles as they posed for photos alongside Beyoncé's husband Jay-Z, 56, who was dressed in a blue striped shirt and a baseball cap. 

Elsewhere in the VIP area of the MetLife Stadium, Shakira bumped into England football legend David Beckham and were seen chatting in a corridor. 

David dressed dapper in a navy suit for the occasion which saw Spain lift the trophy after defeating Argentina 1-0. 

The Waka Waka singer also posed with Tom Cruise as well as Anya Taylor-Joy, BTS and Kevin Hart.

She made sure to snap selfies in a suite with MrBeast, 28, and gushed: 'I'm such a fan of yours, for what you do for others, I wish there were more people in the world like you.'

The Hips Don't Lie singer donned a black tank top and black and white leggings as she enjoyed an ice lolly backstage. 

She wrote: 'What a day yesterday! Running into so many people I appreciate and respect, and receiving so much love from all of you!! 

'Also, ¡que viva Colombia en este día y siempre! [Long live Colombia on this day and always!]'

During her performance, Shakira was called a 'timeless beauty' by fans as she co-headlined the World Cup final half-time show.

The songstress flaunted her toned abs in a pink and yellow sequined custom Roberto Cavalli bodysuit by Fausto Puglisi, which was embellished with Swarovski crystals.

She performed her hit Dai Dai with Burna Boy as her ex-husband, Spanish former professional football player Gerard Pique, 39, watched on with their two sons Milan, 13, and Sasha, 11.

Shakira has performed at four of the last six World Cups. She sang Hips Don't Lie at the closing ceremony of the 2006 World Cup in Germany, Waka Waka in 2010 in South Africa and La La La in Brazil in 2014. 

Even Roy Keane proved to be a fan. When asked about what he thought of the show, Roy replied: 'It was a bit of an anti-climax, but I think the people in the stadium probably enjoyed it more than us. But it’s always nice to see Shakira.'

Spain went on to be crowned the 2026 World Cup champions, after Ferran Torres scored the winning goal against Argentina during extra time. 

Dai Dai is the official anthem of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. 

Shakira partnered with Global Citizen and FIFA to provide access to education for children in underserved communities, with record royalties from Dai Dai being donated to the Education Fund, and Sony Music will match the first $250,000 raised with a donation. 

Shakira and Gerard's split came when the Whenever, Wherever hitmaker allegedly discovered that her longtime beau had been cheating with now-girlfriend Clara Chia.

In a 2024 interview with GQ Spain, Shakira detailed how her twelfth studio album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, helped her cope with the breakup.

'For many months after my separation I had been silent, trying to begin my mourning, but I couldn't really begin to grieve until I started writing music,' she divulged.

'It was my way of healing. And it continues to be. Grief is a process that is not linear. It is full of peaks and valleys,' she added at the time.

The mother of two made rare comments about the heartbreak she suffered from her split with Pique in a June cover story for People.

'Behind every experience in life, there's always a lesson, and we have to be grateful for all those lessons, even for the people that leave you with scars,' she shared with the publication.

She added that those lessons 'just make us better.'

The star also declared that she feels stronger now, noting, 'I always thought that I was more fragile or weaker than what life proved me to be.'

And the songstress made comments about her link to the World Cup, sharing, 'Every World Cup is really magical, and I think this one is going to be all about bringing people together in this very sensitive moment in time, socially and politically.'

The World Cup is where she met Pique in 2010, when she sang Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) at the closing ceremony.

'I have this connection with [football] that seems unbreakable,' she said.
