Squid Game season 2 was dethroned on Netflix's top 10 list on Tuesday. 

The long-awaited sequel to the popular Korean thriller series broke viewership records with its debut on the streaming service just last month. 

However, just two weeks after its premiere on December 26, it has now been unseated from its number one position by WWE Monday Night RAW. 

The WWE flagship show debuted on Netflix with a star-studded audience and a record-breaking viewership, drawing in 4.9 million views. 

The newest acquisition by Netflix means RAW will now be streaming there once-a-week for a decade, per the deal that Netflix made which is reportedly worth over $5 billion.

And it is possible Monday Night RAW could be taking over the top spot on the popular list for a while.

The upset comes as somewhat of a surprise as the Squid Game season 2 premiere marked record-breaking numbers. 

The thriller series is set to return with season three sometime in 2025 and is expected to reprise the number one spot. 

The next season of the hit series hailing from South Korea may return as soon as June, according to Netflix leaking the data. 

The top list will also be occupied by highly-awaited returns later this year when Stranger Things' season five and Wednesday's season two drops. 

Currently, the rest of the list, in addition to RAW and Squid Games, includes Missing You, a new crime drama. 

Virgin River, No Good Deed and La Palma occupy spots in the latter half of the list. 

The top 10 also includes Black Doves and The Equalizer starring Queen Latifah. 

The professional wrestling show pulled in more than double the household average viewership that the show brought in on USA Network in 2024. 

According to VideoAmp data shared by Netflix, RAW brought in a sizable audience for Netflix in the United States and territories where Netflix distributes it, including Canada, the U.K., Latin American countries and Australia. 

WWE programming is not yet available on Netflix in 92 countries including France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, India, Japan and the Philippines. 

Netflix's whopping $1 billion rights deal with the WWE marks the streaming service's strongest push into live programming thus far.

Now, in addition to the weekly RAW telecasts, Netflix is also the exclusive distributor of WWE premium live events and other weekly programming, including Smackdown and NXT, in most international markets.
