Political strategist Alex Bruesewitz got engaged to his girlfriend Carolina Urrea on Sunday, the Daily Mail can exclusively reveal.

Bruesewitz proposed at the picture-perfect beachside Nobu Malibu restaurant in California on Sunday evening and she said yes.

The couple met on the campaign trail as Bruesewitz, a close advisor to President Trump and his family, worked with Barron Trump and Dana White to reintroduce the president to the wildly popular podcast and influencer community during the 2024 election.

Urrea, a former Miss Nevada and Miss USA second runner up, is close friends of Ari Reitsma and Angela Halili, host of the Girls Gone Bible podcast.

Bruesewitz and Kyle Forgeard of the Nelk boys, set up a meet and greet opportunity for the podcast hosts and the president in Las Vegas, an opportunity to reintroduce the president to young female voters.

Urrea joined her friends as they met with Trump and prayed over him during the campaign.

It was a life-changing moment for Bruesewitz as the political event started to get more personal. 

'It doesn't hurt to have the president talking you up,' Bruesewitz told the Daily Mail about their first meeting.

The couple has been inseparable ever since, as Alex continues his consulting work in Washington, DC and Florida.

After the engagement, the happy couple celebrated at the dinner with Reitsma and Halili, close friends and family, and country music star Warren Zeiders.

The wedding is expected to take place in early 2026.
