INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A 49-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting of a 40-year-old man in October on the city’s west side, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said Monday.

The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will decide what, if any charges will be filed against James Summitt.

Officers responded to a report of a person shot just before 4 p.m. Oct. 12 in the 1400 block of North Tibbs Avenue.

Police found Clifford “Buck” Nathaniel Hudson with gunshot wounds. Paramedics took him to a hospital in critical condition. He died there Oct. 14.
