The project centred on deploying SatService’s next-generation sat-nms Monitoring and Control system for Turkuvaz Media’s broadcast operations in Istanbul and Ankara.

SatService, in cooperation with their technology partner PikoTV, has completed the RF Headend NMS/MNC monitoring & control project for Turkuvaz Media, one of Turkey’s major media organisations.

The project centred on the deployment of a next-generation sat-nms satellite ground segment Monitoring and Control (MNC) system, designed and developed by SatService for Turkuvaz Media’s broadcast operations in Istanbul and Ankara. The system delivers a centralised, scalable and highly reliable platform for monitoring and controlling complex satellite ground station and broadcast equipment environments, with the solution specifically customised to meet Turkuvaz Media’s operational needs.

The sat-nms MNC system provides centralised oversight of RF subsystems, modulators, high-power amplifiers (HPAs) and RCU equipment through an intuitive graphical user interface. Its capabilities include real-time monitoring, event and alarm management, an integrated event database and macro management features that automate workflows and contribute to improved system reliability.

In close coordination with Turkuvaz Media and together with PikoTV, SatService delivered a full turnkey solution covering system design, configuration, installation and successful field acceptance testing. The on-site project phase also included comprehensive training sessions for operators and system administrators to support efficient and sustainable long-term operations.

PikoTV played a key role as an integration and project partner, bringing its broadcast expertise to the deployment and ensuring smooth integration of the new system into Turkuvaz Media’s existing infrastructure.

The completed project strengthens operational transparency, reliability and scalability across Turkuvaz Media’s broadcast operations, while also highlighting the strong collaboration between SatService and PikoTV in delivering advanced broadcast control solutions. As a result, Turkuvaz Media now benefits from enhanced visibility, greater operational stability and a future-ready platform to support the continued expansion of its broadcast services.
